Harbinger of Shadows

Born into the Whitlock family Lydia led are rather sheltered and secluded life. With few friends she spend most of her time with her nose buried in a book or out exploring the woods behind her home. The Whitlock family home is a rather quaint house on the borders of her home town 'Willows Hollow' her house has been in the family for generations, though they originally resided in Massachusetts. Unfortunately Her mother died when she was a child therefore her father was and continues to be overly protective, he makes monthly visits to the academy to check up on her. Growing up a fear of the dark plagued her life, for years she relied on a nightlight to help her sleep. Her father would often tell her to "Carry her light into even the darkest corners." a sentiment that stays with her to this day.On Lydia's 18th birthday her party was interrupted by intruders believing they could pillage the Whitlock family home for a pretty penny. Luckily it was a modest affair, her family and only a few of her friends in attendance, the girl lost control of her emotions causing a dense black fog to leap from her hands, the fog invaded the intruders body compromising each of his senses. Whilst the intruders were weakened the family were able to call the authorities. Since that night her family and friends vowed to keep her secret.Though soon enough a series of black cars raced through town, foreboding bodyguards sweeping the girl into their protection and ferreting her off to New Orleans and the prestigious Miss Robichaux's Academy. Where now under the protection and watchful eyes of Supreme Cordelia Goode Lydia continues to flourish.



Personality

Lydia is an extremely quirky girl, with a serene disposition and many eccentric beliefs and qualities. For years she was incredibly shy, finding it quite hard to make friends. Though since finding her feet at the academy she has begun to flourish and grow in confidence. Lydia finds her strength in her friends, they make her feel confident and secure in herself, having a large group of friends at the academy brings her so much joy!
